The Throttle is the first Quantum reel built with Quantum's all-new Reel Engine technology for super smooth cranking and unmatched durability. The aluminum uni-body construction is precision-machined to the tightest of tolerances to provide a more solid foundation for the gears and drive shaft yielding a super-free, silky smooth retrieve. The double-anodized MaxCast II spool design helps provide longer, easier casting, and each spool also comes equipped with a braid-ready spool band to eliminate the hassle of spooling up with braid. Featuring a multi disc drag system which has what it takes to slow down hard fighting fish on light lines.

Reel preforms better than expected September 7, 2018

Found this reel in the clearance section. The drag and overall mechanical aspects of this reel works great for me as a hobbyist fisherman no complaints here.
I ordered online and choose to pick it up locally. Customer service was great got a online conformation and a phone call within a hour or so telling me my order was ready to be picked up.
